The skills that are being taught in the Youth Business Program with Evolving Excellence, Inc. prepares them to be successful anywhere...in any environment.

Elijah Everett, Youth Programs Director

Elijah is a successful college student who learned very early the importance of hard work and dedication. Diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age 10 it was a challenge for him to learn in the same way and under the same conditions as many other students. He worked with his mother to create a learning system that worked best for him. Through his own creative devices he developed creative study habits and sought out medical information to better help him understand and plan to work with his disorder. Elijah is also the author and creative director of a book entitled Moving Marvin. This story depicts a young boy trying to function at school and manage his friendships all while dealing with a disorder that neither he nor his parents understand.
